About OrditAI
The books and the fileboth have to hold up.
One is reviewed at close, the other is reviewed by a regulator. Both make the same demand: show the working. That is why OrditAI is one workbench with two modules — and an AI that prepares but never signs.
Why George prepares instead of decides
An accountant posts an entry and a controller certifies the statements. An auditor signs an opinion and carries personal liability for it. In both cases a name goes on the work, and when the work is questioned — at close, in a review, by a regulator, in a court — that person has to show how each figure was arrived at and on what evidence.
Most AI tools are built the other way around: they produce an answer and ask you to trust it. In almost every other industry that trade is worth making. In accounting and audit it is worthless, because a figure you cannot defend is not a figure at all.
So we started from attribution rather than automation. Every piece of work George does — a drafted journal, a sampled population, a completed procedure — is authored, timestamped, evidenced and reversible. He prepares. You review. You sign. The record shows which of you did what, and it will still show it in three years when somebody asks.

What we hold to
Six commitments the product is built around.
01
The signature stays human
We will not build a feature that lets a posted entry or an audit conclusion reach a report without a named person accepting it.
02
Every line has an author
Everything George does is attributed, timestamped and reversible — in the ledger and in the audit file alike. Nothing is anonymous.
03
Entities and engagements never mix
Every firm is its own tenant, every entity its own set of books, every engagement its own workspace. Data never crosses those lines.
04
No number we cannot support
If we cannot show you the working behind a claim, we do not make the claim.
05
The modules are the firm’s choice
Run accounting on its own, auditing on its own, or both together. An administrator decides what is enabled, and can change it at any time.
06
George is embedded, not bolted on
He works inside the same workbench, on the same data, under the same permissions as the people around him. There is no separate AI tool to reconcile against.
Put George on the next close, and the next file.
He drafts. You review. You sign. The file shows the rest.
